DFZC Enhances the Services naming and implement the Service improvement model for the User's simplified Journey
The Dubai Free Zones Council organized an interactive workshop to facilitate integrated services and the user’s digital journey in all free zones in Dubai, in cooperation with the Dubai Model Center of the General Secretariat of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai and the Dubai Digital Authority, in addition to developing standards and capabilities for facilitating services and establishing procedures. And conducting business digitally, in order to contribute to consolidating Dubai’s position as a global destination for opportunities, talent and investments, especially in the fields of the digital economy and sectors of the future based on knowledge, innovation and technology.
Representatives of the free zones in Dubai participated in the workshop, which was attended by the Secretary General of the Dubai Free Zones Council, Dr. Juma Al Matroushi, during which the Dubai Model Center gave a presentation on the “360 Services” policy, which ensures the provision of integrated, customized, smooth and proactive services that anticipate future needs. The Dubai Digital Authority also presented a comprehensive vision for digitizing life in Dubai and building an integrated journey in the city of the smartest future.
The workshop highlighted opportunities to unify the names of government services within free zones, and design future services in accordance with the “360 Services” policy by focusing on customers and achieving efficiency by focusing on the digital experience in the first place, providing proactive services, activating integrated data, and allocating unified service channels. Improving the efficiency of services, making the customer centered, activating the role of service advisors, and strengthening partnerships with the private sector.
A global digital capital and a model in integrated services
Dr. Juma Al Matroushi stressed that “the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, aims to make Dubai a global digital capital and a model for integrated services that put the customer at the top of priorities, and the free zones in Dubai are an essential part of This commitment advances the service system and the journey of customers and partners and supports the path to raising its contribution to the digital economy and the GDP of the Emirate of Dubai to 250 billion dirhams by 2030.”
Al Matrooshi said: “The proactive approach and anticipating future needs, whether at the level of services or digital infrastructure required to facilitate customer experiences and attract companies, entrepreneurs and investors, was the basis from which the concept of free zones in Dubai was launched, which set a precedent at the region level and wrote an exceptional success story for Dubai. This is the approach that we will continue in the next stage.”
