His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita,
is a prominent government leader in the Emirate of Dubai, with many years of experience in administration and real estate development. He currently serves as the Director General of Dubai Municipality and holds active membership in several key government entities, including the Executive Council of Dubai, the Supreme Energy Council, the Higher Committee for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management, and the Supreme Committee for Urban Planning.
His Excellency has previously held influential leadership positions such as Director General of the Dubai Land Department, Executive Director of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, and President of the UAE Football Association.
He has participated in numerous local and international conferences and has chaired the Middle East and North Africa Real Estate Society (MENRES). He also served as Vice President of the American Real Estate and Land Use Organizations (ARELLO). Additionally, he contributed to founding the Middle East Facility Management Association (MEFMA) and launched several developmental initiatives in the real estate and administrative sectors.
His Excellency holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Survey Engineering, in addition to an honorary doctorate awarded in recognition of his contributions to administration and development. He is also a distinguished graduate of the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Development Program, having participated in both the Young Leaders and Government Leaders cohorts, one of the UAE’s most prominent national leadership development programs.
